The creative’s cubicle | A truly moving space

As we traverse this new age of telecommuting, cooperative work spaces and teleleasing, the traditional office space continues to evolve.

Of the latest workplace trends, most of us have heard of the mobile office—typically, a space for employees who work away from their company headquarters, usually in their vehicles, using portable devices connecting them to company servers.

But the folks at ADstream, a Minnesota-based digital advertising firm, specializing in trade shows and event presentations, have taken this concept to another level.

Their office, a vintage-style Airstream trailer, is not only mobile, it’s for hire. They call it a Unique Visual Promotions vehicle and here’s how it works.

You hire them to help promote your organization’s next industry event or trade show. They bring the ADstream, displaying customized presentations that convey your messaging. How’s that for a new communication vehicle to help mark distinction among hordes of event participants?

The ADstream comes equipped with various hookups for sound and two built-in 42” LG LCD display screens where you can play any type of custom visual presentation, including slide shows, PowerPoint presentations, HTML or Flash Web sites and broadcast commercials. This allows for the flexibility to tailor presentations to specific targets. But, that’s just the exterior.

On the inside, the ADstream offers state-of-the-art technology and style. From teak hardwood floors and Baltic birch paneling, to storage, seating and most importantly, a Sub-Zero wine cooler, this is not your typical PVC trade show booth.

And although odds are in your favor that your competitors didn’t arrive at the trade show in a neighboring Airstream, you can keep them at bay, because the interior offers the privacy of a premium office space. After all, where better to begin dialogue with a prospective client than in the company of your own mobile office bar.

So whether you want to be a laptop hobo or a cooperative hitchhiker, one thing is for sure, start with the space. And make it moving.

This is great! I have two friends with road show related projects. This would be a great solution to their traveling photo gallery needs.
