A different drum | The weekend

Money, recognition, independence, accomplishment, status… these are some of the rewards we get from work. Of these, however, there’s only one we all share in common: the weekend. For most of us these two days aren’t a perk or part of a package, but a right—they come with the job. Even when we must work on S-days, the weekend still means more to us than other days. Why? Maybe it’s because each week we get the chance to write a new story: a two-day tale about our interests, passions and dreams.

Please tell us about your weekend stories in the comments.

Loverboy “Working For The Weekend”

A Different Drum is an ongoing series that is inspired by Tom’s playlist.
